Romeo, the sun conure on the left loves to dance to music and give kisses. He's also the biggest pig, because half of his food gets flung to the floor. We always wonder if he ever really eats anything. Sweety Mango is a friends bird that we sometimes babysit. She loves to cuddle with Romeo, at first he wasn't sure what to think about her, but I think he secretly loves all the attention. In loving memory of Sweety Mango. |
Watch out world here he comes. Oreo should have been named after the Tazmanian Devil, because he's always on the go and if he can reach it, its in his mouth and out to the dog run (including the remote control). He like to take a running jump, land on your chest and give Big, wet puppy kisses (his beard is like a soaking wet, wet sponge). Boy is he cute and sweet, especially when he curls up in your lap and finally falls asleep. I want it to be noted that my husband Troy was the First to cave in to getting a dog after he swore No More Pets, I want to travel. Hah. I wouldn't have it any other way. |
Patchouli got her name because I loved the smell of the essential oil and I like anything medieval, so all my cats have been named after the knights of the round table. Also I figured the women would have worn Patchouli for a perfume during that time period. A couple of years after we found Patchouli in our yard my mother finnally confessed that she dropped her off , knowing I would fall in love with her immediatly since she's such a sweetheart. |
Tiger is my mom's cat. They both live with us now and boy does she spoil him. My husband and I love to tease and play with him, because he is very loud and talkative. We have a cat fishing pole with a toy mouse attached and he loves to chase it. |
In loving memory Thanksgiving weekend 1990 to June 2 2008 Galahad is 16 years old, he came to us on Thanksgiving weekend. Whenever anyone saw his paws, they'd count his toes to see if he had 6 since they were sooo big.He only has 5 and they are still big paws. Our kids call him scaredy cat because he never comes out in the day time, however the kids and our dogs are afraid of him because he growls at their feet from under the bed. Who's the scaredy cat? Galahad is the only cat I know that drools. Woops thats cats rule and dogs drool? |
My son was desparate to have a dog, so one summer while he was visiting his aunt, he asked if he could bring home a puppy she had and didn't have time for. We said yes of course and so when the kids came home so did Jessie James. I should have known that with a name like that, he would be pure trouble. I think he got into as much trouble and bounced all over as Tigger from Winnie The Poo. I also know why Dalmations are the mascot for fire stations- Jessie could put out a fire all by himself, boy was he hard to puppy train. Jessie is the sweetest dog and unfortunately for my lap, he thinks he's a lap dog and at 90lbs my lap doesn't agree. He's also a chicken, we have to save him from everything- cats, ducks and storms, I think sometimes he must be my siamese twin because he's attached to my side when he's scared. |
In Loving memory summer 1994 to Febuary 21 2008 Thor got his name because our youngest son couldn't say th or s words. He is part German Shepard and part Rhodesian Rigeback. He is always on the look out for his boy, my oldest son , who has a job , plays football and works. Thor thinks he should stay home all day to be with him. He's very sweet except when protecting us from the mean squirrels, then he runs around trying to catch them on our screened in patio and on the bushes.I personally think the squirrels are just big teases. |

 | Alexandra, my Green Indian Ringneck Parrot has an attitude, so when we noticed her sitting on a smiley face tennis ball and her attitude improved, we thought yeh, it's about time something makes her happy, other then attached to me. I call her my little green growth. Well, we have a wild duck in our yard that always lays 1 egg and walks away. We thought lets clean it up and give it to Alexandra, maybe it'll hatch, if not at least she'll be happy for a while. Almost a month went by, we went on vacation, and come back thinking how long do we let her sit? Then all of a sudden I heard a baby duck, at first I thought my glass door was open, then I realized BABY DUCK, oh my gosh, Alexandra attually hatched the egg we put in her cage. Sure enuogh she was cleaning her baby and quite proud of herself. I'm not sure what she'll do with it because it's almost as big as her, but we'll keep it til it's weaned? and probably give it to our local wildlife center. |

Alexandra is a Green Indian Ringneck Parrot. When we went looking for a bird for my son, he picked her because another bird was chasing her around the pet store. She decided when we brought her home that she didn't want anything to do with him or anyone else except me. So I call her my little green growth because she likes to sit on my chest and stare and stare and stare at me. She loves to be petted behind her neck and chirps until you stop. |
